Shaquille O’Neal has seen quite a few things in his time – he was one half of sport’s most high profile feud, after all – so it seemed appropriate that Jimmy Kimmel ask him about the Blake Griffin situation while appearing on his show on Wednesday night.
Shaq, who was surprised by Kimmel with news of his very own Lakers statue, said it was “very unfortunate” that Griffin punched a member of the Clippers’ training staff.
As a result of the punch, Griffin broke his hand and is expected to miss around four weeks of action.
O’Neal also revealed that he’d seen “dumber” things happen between players during his time in the league, and even admitted to to Kimmel that he himself had punched someone in the past. Although, the big fella didn’t give any details on who it was or where, so it may have been before his NBA days.
