Damn, Sam, tell us how you really feel…

After Kobe Bryant dropped 38 points (and seven three-pointers) on Sam Mitchell’s Minnesota Timberwolves last night, the team’s interim head coach had some strong words when he was asked about the five-time NBA champion.

“I hate him,” Mitchell said.

“Good riddance to him?” A reporter responded, referring to Bryant’s upcoming retirement.

“If I don’t ever see him again, it won’t be too soon,” Mitchell replied. “I hate him.”

Bryant was later told about Mitchell’s comments. His response was classic Kobe.

Of course, Mitchell was the head coach of the Toronto Raptor’s when Bryant scored 81 points against them back in January of 2006.

No need to be salty, though, Sam. It’s not Kobe’s fault that you still don’t know how to double team.
